It started with a simple question: What if the next big tech talent in Nigeria is sitting in a secondary school classroom in Abraka right now, but nobody has told them yet?
That question drove the team members of Hamplus Hub out of our hub into the schools. And honestly? We weren’t prepared for what we found.
The Visit That Changed Everything
On 22nd May, 2026, our team at Hamplus Technologies International aka Hamplus Hub in Abraka launched a tech outreach campaign across secondary schools right here in Delta State. We went classroom to classroom, face to face; yes! no fancy auditoriums, no Zoom links. Just us, a projector, real conversations, and a room full of teenagers who were far more curious than we expected.
We introduced students to six high-demand tech skills they can start learning this holiday:
- 🎨 Animation (2D & 3D) — because African stories deserve world-class visuals
- 🎬 Video Editing — the skill behind every YouTube channel and brand campaign
- 💻 Web Design & Development — build websites, build income
- 🖌️ Graphics Design — turn creativity into a career
- 📊 Data Analysis — the language every industry now speaks
- 🤖 AI in Software Development — not just the future. It’s already now.
The Moment We’ll Never Forget
One student who was in SS2 sitting at the back row with her arms folded, raised her hand mid-session and asked, “Can I actually make money from this before I finish school?”
The room went quiet. We smiled. The answer is yes. And that’s exactly why we’re here.
This Summer, We’re Changing the Narrative
Too many young people in our communities are spending the long holiday doing nothing or learning in various lessons and not acquiring skills. This is not because they lack potential, but because nobody showed them the door. We’re opening it for all!
Our Summer Holiday Tech Classes are designed specifically for secondary school students in and around Abraka. No prior experience needed. Just curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to show up.
