The NACOS 2025 week at Delta State University, Abraka was everything you would expect from the largest community of computing students in Nigeria a vibrant mix of tech talks, networking sessions, and cultural moments. Students from Computer Science, and other interested students gathered not just to celebrate but to learn, share, and dream big about the future of technology.

The theme of this year’s week celebration was on techno-centric computing of which speakers were called from various technology ecosystems to participate as speakers. Hampo, JohnPaul A.C., was one of the speakers; his session was engaging and the students paid keen attention.

Hampo, JohnPaul A.C., was not just a speaker, he was a listener also. He actively took notes and points and also contributed to the question and answers session from the various speakers.

The energy in the room reached its peak during the cutting of the cake, a tradition that usually symbolizes unity and celebration. This year, however, it became much more than just a photo moment.

As the knife was raised, the atmosphere shifted by Hamplus Hub offered awarding full scholarships to five students with a desire to learn any tech skill of their choice between web development and data analysis.

The hall immediately erupted in cheers. For the students chosen, it wasn’t just about free training it was about opportunity. A chance to step into the world of coding, UI/UX design, data analysis and other digital paths that could shape their futures.

Moments like these remind us why community-driven initiatives matter so much. Hamplus Hub didn’t just cut a cake they cut open doors to the future. By investing in students, they are investing in the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and creators who will power Nigeria’s growing tech ecosystem.

The NACOS event at DELSU has always been about more than lectures and conferences. It’s a space where students connect with industry trends, gain mentorship, explore emerging technologies like Web3, and celebrate their shared passion for computing. But this year, thanks to Hamplus Hub, it also became a stage for life-changing opportunities.

Hamplus Technologies International which is a centre for Research, Education, Agile coding, Collaboration, Training and Development uses her hub (Hamplus Hub) to create values and impact lives.
